These are fancy with very little trouble.Ingredients | Spice Cake Mix Cookies Applesauce2 cups all-purpose flour1 teaspoon salt4 teaspoons baking powder2 tablespoons white sugar1 teaspoon ground cinnamon¼ teaspoon ground ginger¼ teaspoon ground cloves2 eggs, beaten1 ½ cups warm milk2 tablespoons melted butter1 teaspoon vanilla extract¾ cup Mott's® Original Applesauce1 (15.25 ounce) can apple pie filling1 cup waterFresh whipped creamDirectionsHeat waffle iron according to directions.Mix together apple (or cherry) pie filling and water in a saucepan; heat until warm over medium heat. Keep warm.Mix flour, salt, baking powder, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves in a large bowl.In a separate bowl, mix together eggs, milk, melted butter, applesauce, and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and stir to blend. Batter will be thick.Brush waffle iron generously with oil or melted butter, or spray with an oil spray.Ladle batter into the preheated oiled waffle iron.
